Day1 - Arrive Delhi - the capital city of Republic of India

On December 12, 1911, George V, the then Emperor of India along with Queen Mary made the announcement to shift the Capital of the British Raj from Calcutta to Delhi at the Delhi Durbar and laying the foundation stone for Viceroy's residence in the Coronation Park. The capital city can be easily divided into two parts - Old & New Delhi. While Shahjahan built a new walled city which served as the capital of Mughal Empire from 1649 to 1857 AD and is now regarded as Old Delhi has many ancient & medieval monuments, archaeological sites & remains. The New Delhi was planned & built by leading 20th century British architects Sir Edwin Lutyens and Sir Herbert Baker and contracted to Sir Sobha Singh. The present President House, Indian Parliament & other Government Secretariat buildings were built by them.
Day2 - Delhi - Explore the capital !
After breakfast, guided tour of historic city of Delhi. The city where one can experience the influence of the many rulers who ruled this region, a city built and destroyed and re-built over seven times. The guided tour takes you to the monuments that depict the different eras. The tour includes visit to the magnificent Red Fort, the Jama Masjid - Asia's largest mosque, Rajghat - the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi - the "Father of the Nation". Afternoon tour of New Delhi to include Humanyun's Tomb, Birla Mandir, Bahai's Temple, Qutab Minar, India Gate, President's House and drive through Connaught Place. Evening, see Son-et-Lumerie at Red Fort (optional). Overnight at hotel.
Day3 - Delhi - Jaipur (265 kms / 05 hrs)
Breakfast at hotel followed by leisurely drive to Jaipur. Check in hotel on arrival. Afternoon half day guided sightseeing of Jaipur - known as 'the pink city'. Visit the City Palace, Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) etc. Overnight at hotel.
Day4 - Jaipur
After breakfast, guided excursion to Amber (Amer) Fort - the ancient capital of the state until 1728. Ascend the fort on a gaily-decorated elephant back. Visit the palace buildings> Afternoon, sightseeing of the Jaipur City. Evening free for shopping around the bazaars where one can choose from precious gems to variety of handicrafts. Overnight at hotel.
Day5 - Jaipur - Agra (250 kms / 05 hrs)
After breakfast, drive for Agra, the city of world famous 'Taj Mahal' - 7th Wonder of the world. Enroute halt in the vicinity of Agra city to visit Fatehpur Sikri, the erstwhile capital of the Mughal Empire built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. On arrival Agra check-in the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day6 - Agra - Gwalior (120 kms / 03 hrs)
Enjoy the beauty of Taj Mahal at dawn. Return to hotel for breakfast. Then half day guided sightseeing tour of Agra City, visit Agra Fort & Itmad-ud-daulah. Later drive to Gwalior. On arrival check in at hotel. Optional visit to the Sound and light show at Gwalior Fort. Overnight at hotel.
Day7 - Gwalior - Orcha (120 kms / 03 hrs)
After breakfast, sightseeing tour of Gwalior city visiting the Gwalior Fort and other attractions. Afternoon proceed to Orchha. Check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day8 - Orcha - Khajuraho ( 178 kms / 04 hrs )
After breakfast, guided sightseeing of Orcha and after that leisurely drive to Khajuraho and a visit to the Jhansi. Check-in hotel and later proceed for a guided tour of Chandela dynasty temples famous for their spectacular sculptures and erotic carvings. Check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day9 - Khajuraho - Varanasi (by air)
After breakfast, visit the Southern group of Khajuraho temples. Afternoon transfer to airport to board flight for Varanasi. On arrival assistance at the airport and transfer to hotel. Evening optional visit to the ghats (banks) of river Ganges (Ganga) Overnight at hotel.
Day10 - Varanasi
Early morning, boat ride on river Ganges followed by city tour including Benaras Hindu University, the ancient centre of Hindu education. Excursion to Sarnath. Eveninng free for own activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day11 - Varanasi - Kathmandu (by air)
After breakfast, transfer to Varanasi airport to board flight for Kathmandu. On arrival assistance at airport and transfer to hotel. Evening free for leisure activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day12 - Kathmandu
Early morning Mt. Everest plane view. Return to hotel for breakfast, half day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city visiting Swyambhunath temple, Pashupatinath. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day13 - Kathmandu
After breakfast sightseeing tour of Bhadgaon and Bodhanath. Evening free for shopping. Overnight at hotel.
Day14 - Kathmandu - Delhi
After breakfast day at discreation till departure transfer to airport to connect flight for Delhi. On arrival transfer to hotel for wash and change & later proceed for airport to board flight back home.
