Delhi to Agra – 4/5 hrs drive (Note: Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays). After breakfast, depart for Agra and begin your Agra Sightseeing Tour.
Proceed to the main attraction of Agra – the Taj Mahal, a world-renowned monument of love, built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1630 in memory of his favorite wife. It is celebrated for its Mughal architecture blending Turkish, Islamic, and Persian styles.
Visit the Marble Crafts Emporium — a wonderful opportunity to view intricate marble inlay works and purchase miniature Taj Mahal souvenirs as memorable keepsakes.
Explore Agra Fort — a UNESCO World Heritage site built by Akbar on the banks of the Yamuna River. The fort stretches 2.5 km and features structures like Sheesh Mahal, Khas Mahal, Meena Bazar, Nagina Masjid, and Meena Masjid.
Agra Fort also holds historical significance as Emperor Shah Jahan was imprisoned here by his son Aurangzeb and spent his final years viewing the Taj Mahal from the fort.
Explore Agra’s rich heritage with visits to spice shops, carpet stores, and clothing outlets. End the day with a peaceful sleep, dreaming of the Taj Mahal. Overnight stay in Agra.
After Breakfast Drive to Ranthambore – The Indian Tiger Reserve, en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, an eerily abandoned capital from the Mughal Empire between 1570 and 1586.
Akbar built this city to celebrate the birth of his son and future heir to the throne, Emperor Jahangir. Though believed to be illiterate, Akbar had a deep interest in the arts and architecture. Fatehpur Sikri is one of his masterworks but was abandoned within a decade due to water scarcity.

Jaipur, Rajasthan’s capital, is also known as the Pink City — the nickname becomes apparent as you enter the old city walls and see the pink-hued buildings rising at every turn.
Proceed to Ranthambore – a 5-hour drive. Overnight stay in Ranthambore.
Ranthambore National Park is a fascinating blend of history and nature. Inside the park is a formidable fort that was built in the 10th century and coveted by many rulers due to its strategic position between north and central India.
The park itself is situated at the joining of the Vindhya Plateau and the Aravalli Hills, and is characterized by rocky plains and steep cliffs. It supports a diverse range of flora and fauna.

After Breakfast Start with an exhilarating excursion to Amber Fort perched on top of a hill. A royal ride on elephant (subject to availability) up the hill like the Maharajas of past times and visit the Jagmandir (the hall of victory).
Perched on a hillside on the outskirts of town, the palace was constructed in the 1590s by Maharaja Man Singh, the commander of Akbar’s army, and was largely motivated by the highly defensible location. This is a beautiful and very well preserved structure, built on four levels and surrounded by ruins, which served as the backdrop for the Mira Nair movie “Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love.”
Afternoon: View the grand Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). This magnificent structure was built to allow the royal ladies of the palace to discretely watch the grand processions along the main street.
City Palace and impressive Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory built in the early 1700s by Maharaja Jai Sing II, the great warrior-astronomer to which this city owes its name.
Jaipur is a centre of many handicrafts, such as durries (woven rugs), carpets, printed cloth, semi-precious stones, leatherwear etc — a chance to glimpse through the outlets.
